A greenway and suburban park system leverages Zhangzhou's mother river, the Jiulong, to link cultural resources on both banks, restore the water environment and create ecological, recreational, and cultural tourism corridors through the central urban area. Flood control was the primary design priority, with waterside profiles and planting selected to enrich the water body's spatial character.
