Localizing Production to Create Jobs and Secure Supply

At Windows of Green Africa Limited (WGA), sustainable growth requires domestic capability. Our Manufacturing division drives local production, technology transfer, and import substitution across East Africa—ensuring that the low-carbon technologies powering the region's green transition are assembled, tested, and maintained locally.

Strategic Focus Areas

Windows of Green Africa Limited (WGA) is committed to building a self-sustaining industrial ecosystem that powers East Africa’s transition toward a low-carbon economy. By bridging the gap between global technological innovation and domestic industrial capacity, our manufacturing operations focus on localized value addition, ecological material engineering, human capital development, and supply chain sovereignty.

We focus on localized assembly, sustainable materials, skills development, and strengthening regional supply chains.

Strategic Focus Areas

DISCIPLINE // 01

Local & Small-Batch Assembly

We set up modular assembly facilities tailored for high-demand green technologies. Our operations cover payload calibration and flight testing for survey and inspection drones, local assembly of solar PV components and hybrid energy packs, as well as light electric vehicles (EVs), two-wheelers, and charging units.

DISCIPLINE // 02

Green Industrial Production & Sustainable Materials

To lower the carbon footprint of civil works, we manufacture eco-friendly construction materials and sustainable pavers. This includes nature-based drainage components and permeable surfacing systems designed for blue-green municipal infrastructure, as well as recycling construction materials for civil re-use.

DISCIPLINE // 03

Technology Transfer & Capacity Building

We focus on long-term regional technical independence. Through structured skills-transfer programs, our international manufacturing partners train local engineers and technicians in clean-tech assembly, equipment maintenance, and quality control, while collaborating with regional institutes on applied research.

DISCIPLINE // 04

Import Substitution & Regional Value Chains

Our manufacturing operations reduce reliance on foreign finished goods, lowering procurement lead times and transport costs for critical infrastructure projects. Sourcing materials domestically keeps economic value within East Africa and secures supply chains for regional developments.

Integrated Delivery Lifecycle

Our product lifecycle begins by adapting international green technologies to East Africa's operational requirements. Equipment is then assembled locally, subjected to strict climate and quality testing, and deployed directly across WGA's civil developments and commercial distribution channels.
