CEO Park City of Addis Ababa
A metropolitan-scale park city framework for Addis Ababa, using a multi-functional greenway system to build a green development structure connecting ecological, productive and living spaces. The system integrates the city with mountains, rivers and pastoral landscapes through a green axis, a blue axis along the Bantyketu River, and four green rings.
CHAKA House & CHAKA Valley
Chaka signifies harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. Chaka House is the multi-functional central administrative area of the Ethiopian New National Palace; Chaka Valley is a sustainable eco-smart community. Planning and site selection were adapted to local topography, applying natural solutions to reduce engineering workload and energy consumption, retaining existing mountain trees and integrating organic vegetation renewal.
Sheger Park (Friendship Square)
A 48-hectare transformation of a former slum on the Addis Ababa riverbanks into Ethiopia's premier urban landmark. The project beautified the city image, created a venue for large-scale national events and state diplomacy, expressed ethnic unity and harmonious coexistence, and attracted investment by raising surrounding land value. Recipient of the WUP@10 Outstanding New Park Project Award for the African Region, 2025.
