Transforming Natural Capital into Enduring Wealth for Africa

Leading East Africa in climate-resilient green infrastructure, river basin management, urban drainage, and nature-based engineering solutions.

Executive Overview & Philosophy

Landscape as the Primary Coordinating System

Where conventional planning fragments cities into isolated zones for housing, transport, and green space, Windows of Green Africa (WGA) treats them as a single living organism. We design and deliver water-centric urban systems where ecological restoration, flood defense, and economic development reinforce one another.

Regional Strategic Advantage (Why Tanzania)

Tanzania serves as WGA’s deliberate operational base—a strategic gateway providing seamless connectivity to seven landlocked neighbours and the broader East African Community (EAC) market. Combining vast natural capital, expanding renewable energy assets, and a firm national commitment to climate resilience, Tanzania offers the ideal foundation to scale green infrastructure across the continent.

Our Integrated Delivery Capability

Four divisions, one seamless operating platform.

At Windows of Green Africa (WGA), we address Africa's rapid urbanization and climate challenges not through isolated projects, but through a unified, system-based operational model. Our platform integrates the full value chain of green development—from initial landscape-led spatial planning and environmental engineering to turnkey civil construction, low-carbon technology deployment, and local in-country assembly.

DIVISION // 01

Green Infrastructure & Construction

Synthesizing municipal drainage, arterial transport corridors, clean energy networks, and public civic space into a synchronized, single master engineering framework.

DIVISION // 02

Design, Planning & Consultancy

Positioning natural riparian floodplains as structural organizing arteries. Runoff is transformed into landscape infrastructure rather than hazard zones.

DIVISION // 03

Green Technology Trading

Deploying indigenous flora, native geological bioswales, and regional microclimate adaptation tailored precisely for East African climatic realities.

DIVISION // 04

Manufacturing & Assembly

Moving past depreciating single-use concrete pipes to multi-functional sponge parks that actively multiply municipal land value and biodiversity credits.

Strategic Partnership Ecosystem

We partner with governments, development finance institutions (DFIs), commercial investors, and global technology providers to unlock transformative green investments.

We Build History

WE SHAPE RESILIENT LANDSCAPES & CITIES WORLDWIDE

The 21st century and beyond will be shaped by the world’s ability to work at speed and at scale to meet fast-evolving needs for climate-resilient infrastructure, urban drainage, ecological restoration, and clean energy across Africa, China, and global markets.

Backed by more than two decades of internationally recognized design-build experience across four continents, Windows of Green Africa (WGA) is purpose-built to tackle these global challenges. We turn environmental pressures into enduring, bankable assets that harmonize nature with human progress.

Proven Heritage of Success

Global Design Standing

Xie Xiaoying was listed as one of the thirty pioneer landscape designers in the world, with two works included in "30:30 Contemporary Landscape Architecture", published by PHAIDON, United Kingdom.

The project "HOME — Communal Garden" was selected for the 15th Venice Biennale in 2016, and the Yangmeizhu Xiejie renovation was admitted to the United Nations Urban SDG Knowledge Platform in 2021. Prof. Qu Zhi holds more than ten industry awards including the Silver Prize for Architectural Creation from the Architectural Society of China and an IFLA Asia-Pacific award. This standing gives WGA access to design leadership of demonstrable international rank.
